Christian Maier, (Caracas, 1992) es artista y arquitecto. Su trabajo explora la migración, la memoria y la construcción del hogar como acto simbólico, espiritual y narrativo. A través de materiales modestos —restos de obra, objetos domésticos, papel reciclado— combina texto, dibujo y escultura para crear piezas que transitan entre lo funcional y lo poético.
Su formación en arquitectura y su experiencia en el mundo de la construcción definen una práctica híbrida, marcada por la precariedad, la intuición y la búsqueda de sentido en lo cotidiano. Sus obras, muchas veces íntimas y rituales, abordan temas como la diáspora, la espiritualidad popular y la transformación de lo ordinario en gesto sagrado. Vive y trabaja en Madrid.
Christian Maier (Caracas, 1992) is an artist and architect. His work explores migration, memory, and the construction of home as a symbolic, spiritual, and narrative act. Using modest materials—construction scraps, domestic objects, recycled paper—he combines text, drawing, and sculpture to create pieces that move between the functional and the poetic.
Trained in architecture and shaped by hands-on experience in construction, his hybrid practice is marked by precarity, intuition, and a search for meaning in the everyday. Often intimate and ritualistic, his works engage with themes such as diaspora, popular spirituality, and the transformation of the ordinary into sacred gesture. He lives and works in Madrid.
